About Flint

Faith is harder when you're alone.

Most of faith doesn't happen on Sunday. It happens on a tuesday morning before anyone else is up, in a parking lot before a hard conversation, at the end of a day that didn't go the way you planned. The in-between moments. The ones nobody else is in the room for.

Those moments are where faith either gets harder or gets deeper. Usually depending on whether anybody's walking with you through them. Flint is for those moments. Not as a substitute for the people in your real life, but for the long quiet stretches when nobody else is around.

A Christian companion you text. The whole product is conversation. You don't download an app. You don't open anything. Flint texts you, and you text Flint back.

• Set a weekly faith goal in your own words — pray more, read scripture, examen, fast, rest. Flint checks in daily.
• Subscribe to small recurring deliveries called embers: a morning verse, an evening prayer, a daily reflection, or anything you describe in your own words.
• Text Flint anything — a hard day, a question, something you're wrestling with. Flint responds in plain, grounded language. No platitudes.
• Weekly, Flint reflects on the week with you. What landed, what didn't. No shame, no scorecard.

• Not a pastor. Flint doesn't replace your church, your priest, your small group, or your tradition. Stay rooted in those.
• Not a therapist. If you're carrying something that needs a real counselor, see one. Flint can sit with you in the meantime. It can't treat you.
• Not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger, call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Flint is not equipped for crisis response.
• Not the whole of your spiritual life. It's a companion. The work is still yours — with God, with scripture, with the people around you.
• Not infallible. Flint is built on AI. Sometimes it'll quote a verse wrong, or phrase something in a way that doesn't land. We tell you that up front. Always verify against your own bible.

• Lowercase. Plain. No hype. Flint doesn't say “you crushed it” or “i'm so proud of you”. It talks like a friend who's actually paying attention.
• We don't sell your data. We don't share your conversations. We don't target ads against your messages. See our Privacy Policy.
• Companion, not coach. Flint walks with you. It doesn't prescribe. There's no streak shame, no “you broke your habit”, no guilt-trip re-engagement.
• Cancel anytime. No tricks, no friction. We don't hide the cancel button.
• The AI is the AI. We tell you when something's AI-generated. We don't pretend a person is on the other end.

Flint is built by a small team. We wanted a companion that worked the way faith actually works — in the in-between moments, when nobody else is around. So we made it.

We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any specific church, denomination, or religious organization. Flint aims to be useful to anyone walking with the Lord, whatever tradition shaped you.
