About Flint
Faith is harder when you're alone.
Most of faith doesn't happen on Sunday. It happens on a tuesday morning before anyone else is up, in a parking lot before a hard conversation, at the end of a day that didn't go the way you planned. The in-between moments. The ones nobody else is in the room for.
Those moments are where you either grow or drift. Usually it comes down to whether anybody's walking with you through them, noticing, remembering, pulling you back before you wander off. Flint is for those moments. Not a substitute for the people in your real life, but a companion for the long quiet stretches, keeping you moving toward who God made you to be.
what flint is
A faith companion that lives in your texts. Not another app to open or a habit to white-knuckle. flint texts you, and you text back. It learns where you want to grow, then walks with you there.
it reaches out first
flint checks in before you drift: a verse in the morning, a question, a nudge. your faith shouldn't hang on remembering to show up.
it remembers what matters
what you're praying for, who you're carrying, where you keep getting stuck. it picks up right where you left off.
it meets you when it's hard
text flint anything: a rough day, a doubt, something you're wrestling with. plain, grounded language. no platitudes.
it keeps you moving
when you slip, it pulls you back with grace, not guilt, so you actually become who you keep meaning to be.
what flint isn't
not a pastor
flint doesn't replace your church, your priest, your small group, or your tradition. stay rooted in those.
not a therapist
if you're carrying something that needs a real counselor, see one. flint can sit with you in the meantime. it can't treat you.
not a crisis service
if you're in immediate danger, call 911 or 988 (suicide & crisis lifeline). flint is not equipped for crisis response.
not the whole of your spiritual life
it's a companion. the work is still yours, with God, with scripture, with the people around you.
not infallible
flint is built on AI. sometimes it'll quote a verse wrong, or phrase something in a way that doesn't land. we tell you that up front. always verify against your own bible.

no tricks, no friction. we don't hide the cancel button.
the AI is the AI
we tell you when something's AI-generated. we don't pretend a person is on the other end.
who builds flint
Flint is built by a small team. We wanted a companion that worked the way faith actually works, in the in-between moments, when nobody else is around. Something that reaches out first and keeps walking with you toward who you're becoming. So we made it.
We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any specific church, denomination, or religious organization. Flint aims to be useful to anyone walking with the Lord, whatever tradition shaped you.
